The event was organized by the Instituto de Investigación en Políticas para la Transformación Social and takes place at Universidad Loyola, in Seville (Spain).
The “Refugee Survey for (Post)Covid-19. National Measures and Local Actions in the Algarve” deals with access to housing and adequate living conditions for refugees and other vulnerable migrants in Portugal, mainly in the Algarve, in the (post-)COVID-19 period. It aims to recognize rural-urban tensions and housing paradigms in small/medium-sized cities and rural areas, as well as the strategic, political and specific causes that are at the origin of deprivation and poverty. It also seeks to identify innovative local capabilities capable of creating opportunities and solving problems according to existing socio-spatial characteristics, municipal strategies, lifestyles, among other specificities, and the key actors that promote them.
