Presence at the seminar Media Art and Documentary Film: Poetics, promoted by CIAC/UAlg, May 20, 2022, described as follows:
Cinema, new media and other artistic manifestations seem to converge in new contexts and unexpected places. Media Art and Documentary Film: Poetics brings together researchers from the University of Algarve (UAlg), Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), Nova University of Lisbon and the Art School of Porto (ESAP), to reflect on the paradigms, the borders and the proximities between the concepts of media art and documentary film.
Different lines of research will be presented that address the conceptualization of audiovisual discourse, the poetics, the artistic transitions and the hybridization of documentary audiovisual creation.
